I thought I'd create this thread for the people out there that want to share their heli experience in the sim. If you could include the stick movements (TX visible on screen) that would be even better! So lets get together guys/girls post your sim vids!

Recording Your Videos

To record your sim flight you have two programs that are available.

1. Hypercam (free) http://www.hyperionics.com/downloads/HC2Setup.exe
2. Fraps (not free) http://www.fraps.com/download.php

If you use fraps or hypercam and you want to minimize the size I use Format factory

Format Factory (free) http://www.pcfreetime.com/download.html





1st step is to record with Fraps, then minimize the size with Format Factory(mp4 format), then upload the video to youtube! It's that easy!

just the other day i was at the park and kids with their mom came up to me while flying , it was like forever to get it landed even though it was seconds that seemed like minutes .

jombo it would be nice if these guys would post their sim vids, most of these guys that looks in this thread are soo much better than us, I'd love to see their moves!! I'm sure we could learn a trick or two from them

How's the funnels going jombo? Are you still hitting it? Let us know how you go. Keep at it jombo! 20 years from now next summer time we should be ready for some Smackdown on the Beach!!! By then they should be giving away spartan quarks for free!! Keep hitting it jombo! 5 minutes of sim a day is all we need.

Anyways it's been ages since i tried half flips, i thought i should try a bit of it, very rough, but give it 10 years and I should be able to smoothe it out. You know what I mean?

me , heck yea . i hit the sim everyday at least 2 hours a day , but not all at once . i usually get frustrated after 30 minutes, then just see the different ways to crash after that . yesterday i by accident i was coming out of a turn doing flips and did a nose down funnel still havent got a clue how i did it and couldnt do it again . thats one of my problems , alot of times i learn to do something and they were by accident , like tick tocks , i was better at that than rainbows and thats how i learned to do them lol .
