Post Your Sim Videos Here!!!

I thought I'd create this thread for the people out there that want to share their heli experience in the sim. If you could include the stick movements (TX visible on screen) that would be even better! So lets get together guys/girls post your sim vids!

Recording Your Videos

To record your sim flight you have two programs that are available.

1. Hypercam (free) http://www.hyperionics.com/downloads/HC2Setup.exe
2. Fraps (not free) http://www.fraps.com/download.php

If you use fraps or hypercam and you want to minimize the size I use Format factory

Format Factory (free) http://www.pcfreetime.com/download.html

1st step is to record with Fraps, then minimize the size with Format Factory(mp4 format), then upload the video to youtube! It's that easy!

Alright Guys I took a long break from helis and the sim and I made a few sim vids. I've got one of my old ones here.

Freestyler 250 (1 min 13 sec)

Piroflips 250 sim (0 min 16 sec)

Now because I taken a looong break from helis, i fly like this now. Yep I lost my mojo.

So my main aim now is to start from scratch again and watch all of chad's video, oh thank you chad where ever you are for your vids, they are very inspirational and informative they helped me a bit before.

For those of you that don't know chad he has his youtube channel..

http://www.youtube.com/user/RAZORBACKDEMON

and this is my favourite video from him, hopefully in 10 years time i should be able to fly like chad.

Trex 600 on Phoenix RC Pilot: The Demon (6 min 36 sec)

So come on guys join in the fun and share your sim vids!! Let's all learn together and have fun!

jombo feel free to join in.

thankyou pitchp . its taken about a year to get to that point and almost another year to get to all the ticktocs , piro flips sideways ticktocks , funnels (lol my nemesis ) . i think i have a long way (2 more years) to go to get to what you do . now i am trying to do those low short hop rainbows inverted and upright back and forth like the video you posted before . its mostly timing and i just cant get it . i either wait too long or i push too soon. will i ever do it with a real heli , maybe . it scares me .
just the other day i was at the park and kids with their mom came up to me while flying , it was like forever to get it landed even though it was seconds that seemed like minutes .

How's the funnels going jombo? Are you still hitting it? Let us know how you go. Keep at it jombo! 20 years from now next summer time we should be ready for some Smackdown on the Beach!!! By then they should be giving away spartan quarks for free!! Keep hitting it jombo! 5 minutes of sim a day is all we need.

It would be nice if people could join in the fun!

Anyways it's been ages since i tried half flips, i thought i should try a bit of it, very rough, but give it 10 years and I should be able to smoothe it out. You know what I mean?

Clicky, I know you are reading this, cmon man jombo can do piro flips now! Come join in clicky show us what ya got. cmon man.

me , heck yea . i hit the sim everyday at least 2 hours a day , but not all at once . i usually get frustrated after 30 minutes, then just see the different ways to crash after that . yesterday i by accident i was coming out of a turn doing flips and did a nose down funnel still havent got a clue how i did it and couldnt do it again . thats one of my problems , alot of times i learn to do something and they were by accident , like tick tocks , i was better at that than rainbows and thats how i learned to do them lol .
