Prop option for large electric Texan II

I asked this question in power systems forum but no replies.

I have an ESM Texan II. AUW will be between 18 and 12lbs. Motor is the EFlite Power 160, esc is Castle ICE2 120HV. 12S 5000.

My two prop choices are:
Biela 17.3x8 4-blade
Biela 18x10 4-blade

Im wondering which one is better for this power combo? Biela says the 17.3x8 is for 30cc motors, the 18x10 is for 36cc motors.

I wouldn't put 12s to the motor with either of them on there. ecalc doesn't list your prop, but even with that size and blade count apc electric you're looking at 105 amps with the smaller of the two. On 10s it drops to 78.9amps. Just over spec, but safe. Should have over 20lbs of thrust, but only a pitch speed of 60mph.

V2Rider, can you plug in a 16x8 4 blade please? I do have that option as well. I can run 5s 5000 or 6s 5000...I have both pack configurations.
Thanks
Matt

16x8x4 looks good up to 11s. 11s 5000ma pack should give about 7 minutes of mixed flight. 360oz thrust, pitch speed of 67, and amp draw of 72amps. With that kind of thrust hitting the pitch speed of 67 should be no problem.

Have you considered the APC 15.5X12 4 blade? I'm using one on my 16# ESM Skyraider with an Eflite power 160 on 8s5000. It has 14# of static thrust and flies the plane with plenty of authority.
