Right there is why this nation is on track toward bankruptcy. Not because of the $200 she still gets every month, but because of her incredibly typical attitude that she actually deserves to keep getting it because she is "owed".

...there are laws against taking public assistance with unreported income.I'm sure authorities are working on her charges now.

Look for her to be prosecuted.

Dang right, I was unemployed after I broke my leg, and filed for food stamps. I had to fill out forms proving how much I had in any checking or savings account, or any other income. If my income level changed I had to report it to them right away.

Those darn red states give money away like it's going out of style.

The federal limit for taking food stamps is $2,000 in "countable resources"
