Mounting Mikrocopter Highlander gear to round tube

Has anyone done this or know where there is an example of it?

Nobody has done or thought of this before? I'm sure someone has.

Can someone measure the distance between the mounting holes on the mounting blocks from the highlander?

i have not but i have thought about it... the mk highlanders are actually priced very well and seem like a nice product.

maybe rusty's boom clamps would work well, i am sure if you needed any modifications to them he'd do it for you

The opening is 10mmx10mm, the size of the stock square tube. Screw hole to hole is about 14mm.

if it is square boom, you are just as well off using plates and 3/8" spacers to make a clamp. it works well for that.

This is exactly where I'm going with the idea. I'm finding the CM-2 legs are catching alot of wind gusts and possibly spinning the chassis.. I still need to do more testing all the same.
