Chip, worked at Hobby Shack in 75-77 era. Did some protoype work for McVickar who cut the kits for HS. Slupenthing and Eyesoar had the same wing.
Airfoils and general construction were borrowed from Drifter II. Both flew well for their time, I remember the Eyesoar handled a little better and was easier to get out from a handlaunch. And yes mine was transparent yellow and purple covered in the HS version of solarfilm. LJ

Seems like I remember a Hobby Shack in Fashion Island, back in the early 70s. Quite a ride from Tustin, but always worth the pedalling.
Not surprised about the Drifter styling ques,....nor that your's was done in transparent and I bet it was a beauty
