We've been calling it a horizontal blender, since the stick movements are similar.

This one didn't go so well.

Wamsy ejects a pack. (0 min 41 sec)

Edit: Bonedoc just posted a new vid and calls it a "Crankshaft", which I think is great name for it.

+1 on the crankshaft. Seems appropriate.

I was at Nall when Aaron pulled this one off and the announcer called the last one "a roundabout into a walkabout"

Hated to watch him crash, but that kinda lightened the mood a little.

the "one trick" at nall was meant to be a horizontal blender into a hover... but, situation had it that I screwed it up, plane rotated on the KE axis which wasn't planned and it turned into something else. Josh Price and others were saying that what it ended up is called the crankshaft, so who am I to change this... so that's the name given to doing it on the KE axis, and was what BoneDoc called it in the video. BoneDoc's video goes over the "mistake" that I flew pretty well I think, shows getting the plane into the KE spin axis...

...start them high, the problem with the maneuver is that until you really get to know your plane and the input into this maneuver specifically in a very repeatable fashion, you'll have no idea what orientation the plane will end up.

Wamsy, I wondered what program/application you used to record the screen of your vids to something for upload to youtube?
Cheers,
