Looking for a Flat Foamie Project

Hi All,

I did a quick search and found some potential options for what I'm looking for but:

I would like to find a set of plans or ideas for a flat foamie build to use a Hextronic 24 gram 1500Kv motor and 2s 800mAh lipos. I found some options for the motor but they all need 3s lipos. A 4-channel with ailerons would be preferred as well.

Would you guys be so kind as to point me in a direction for a 2s bird?

Looking for a Flat Foamie Project

I have been flying a Flatana by Great Planes w/ BL 2208/14, 1450kV and a 25 (30)Amp ESC, 3S 800mAh LIPO. This combo is ok in NO wind or indoors. The small diameter of the carbon rods lets the wing flex too much in any wind, or hard fast pullout. It has been a good plane for the price, ($35) but after 2 years and close to 100 flights it is stressed out. It took way too long to build and had poor assembly instructions. After running a beed of polyurethane glue into all the edges it was ok to fly. The RX, ESC, motor, and servoes are all ok, so I am also looking for a new body or whole plane to fly 3D with.
I got a 5.5mm 31" ws, blue foam short kit off a local club member, and have seen the same model fly at our Indoor Fly-in, and it works well. The BL2208/14 may be too much motor for this one, But I will try it and see.
There is a pic of a F-22 with mid mount motor 2800 Kv, fun but not real 3D.

Thank you for the suggestion. Looks nice.

Anybody else have a suggestion for comparison/discussion?

Ok, did a bit more digging and stumbled on this thread...seems like a good fit even though not a flat foam, but it's flat enough and looks way cool. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...0#post11738182
