Yes. I use 3000 and 3300's in my 190 and it holds them easily. It also needed them plus a bit of lead to cg correctly.

Hi all. I am glad that this thread is still going well and is providing all us Dynam pilots valuable information sharing. That is what forums are all about.

I thought I would give you an update after 12 months of flying the Dynam Texan and about 10 months on the Dynam Spitfire. The first noteworthy point is that both planes are still going strong. The Texan was my first low wing plane (and my second rc plane in total), after flying a Cessna for a while.

I had a bad crash with the Texan that resulted in the retracts being ripped clean out of the wings, the motor shaft being bent so badly that I could not get it out of the motor, the prop broken, and the motor mount pretty much decentigrated. This was a HARD crash and a lesser model would have faired a lot worse. After some repairs and a new motor/prop the Texan still flies like it is on rails, and is one of my most stable fliers still. When there is wind, I bring out the Texan as it can handle it no worries. After about 70 flights on this plane, I am still using the stock retracts, the stock esc, and the stock servos, which is remarkable given this plane cost me $110 a year ago.

Now for the Spitfire. Even though I have had it for less time than the Texan, I have flown the Spitfire more times as I love flying it. It feels so nice to fly. I have not crashed the Spitfire once. It also still uses the stock servos and stock retracts. The motor has heald up to about 80 flights on a four cell setup. The esc is an aftermarket one due to the four cell setup. The airframe has had some parts where the paint has come off the epo (like on the fuse around the canopy). But overall it is still in great knick. One again for the price that this plane cost it has been extremely reliable and has not let me down once.

As you can see, my experiences with Dynam planes so far has been great and I will and do recommend them to other RC pilots.

Well done Dynam and keep it up.

Oh by the way, I like the new Hellcat.

Thanks heaps for that Kman. That Hellcat looks great. Dynam is really kicking some goals at the moment. Now if only they would do a Typhoon/Tempest.

Oh I still also wonder why Dynam can't get their pilot right. The new pilot is better than the old Terrance and Phillip style ones l, but the new one is too large and in the Hellcat canopy far too large. Easily fixed though.

Yeah, but it seems that a lot of planes now come with pilots that are too big or too small. There are so many different size planes out on the market now. I am sure that the pilot manufacturers are still playing catchup to make more sizes

Had a mid winter thaw up here in western NY this weekend. Just had to get some of the foamies out and tear up the skies. I found the rite battery prop combo for the P51. I was flying on 2650mah 4 cell and thought the plane to fly well till I tried a 2200 4 cell and wow what a rocket. With the 2200 in the nose I had to add just a tad down trim as under full power she wanted to rocket vertical. After adjusting the elevator with some down and all horns for min throws she is very predictable at high speed. I would dare to guess that flat and level it will hit the high 60's mph range using the 11x8 prop. On other threads I touted how awesome the Dynam Spit flew, well with the rite combo the P51 will fly circles around the Spit in high speed. What the Spit has over the P51 is no wing flex at high speed but the P51 hasn't come apart yet banking and yanking.

Yes I had to put at least three 7g lead pieces in the front of both the 190 and the 109. I also fly with 3000 and 3300 batteries.

Hi all.

With the impending release of the Dynam Tempest (Yay!), it appears that Dynam keeps an eye on this thread, as just about every warbird we have requested on this thread they have delivered over the past year.

I would like to thank Dynam for listening to us, and unlike FMS at the moment who should be named P51MS, Dynam is the company that seems to be serving our wishes.

Now with that in mind, what is the next warbird we want to see?

I would like to see a 1270mm scale looking P-40.

A P-40 would be nice. I think a Zero would also be a sure hit

Yeah, they will raise the price and then have a sale. Then it looks like you are getting a good deal. Lots of places do that. Tower Hobbies likes to do that, too.

It would be awesome to have a CAC Wirraway at 1270mm on 4S. It's never been done. Or a CAC Boomerang. Could be a very cool stable flier. Great for low ground attack runs.
Or a decent twin engine light bomber. It's been done but not at that size. Those models have have been done are either large and expensive or cheap pieces of crap.
Or a P-82 long range fighter escort.

A twin fighter of some sort would be awesome!! P-38, P-82, Mosquito, BF-110, He-111, something along those lines.
