Larger diameter wheels with rounded shouldered tires, one popsicle stick of rake and a little foam removal from the wheel well and the 190 is good. All stock, except I am going to replace the esc. Yeah its a little slow but is a good dependable flyer with good power. Will eventually do the wood block gear mod for added durability.

sorry for the late report ...

Maidened my 190 on sunday of last week ... very little wind down the runway

No extra weight required I flew witha sky lipo 3300 ... cg was around the gear mounts tiny bit forward all I have to say is what a plane what a plane

no need for the rake mod for me its pretty dam fast and agile fantastic roll rate and massive elevator and rudder control ground handling was excellent

guys at the field were very impressed say the least ... well worth the money

GET ONE ...and in my opinion out of the Spitfire p51 and ME 109 from dynam that I have also it flew the best ...with the exception of the T 28 but thats a different style of flying on 3s ...

I look forward to dogfighting with this one in the spring ... its a winner

Good to hear you had a good maiden Yeah, I think this plane is a winner, too. Between all 5 of my Dynam planes I have a hard time deciding on which ones to take to the field. I enjoy flying them all. But, this one definitely flies great and looks great in the air.

I am slowly working my 190 back into serviceable condition since it's nasty wing fold-under landing. Hopefully I can have her back in the air this weekend unless I encounter any more roadblocks on the rebuild.

I replaced the stock gear with eflite. On the stand the gear would fully retract but in the air the doors always seemed to be slightly opened up. I hated to do it but I carved a little more foam from the wheel wells and it solved the problem. I like this plane so much I ordered a spare just in case there discontinued.

Any 90 retract will hang open unless you shim the retract or trim all four legs back and recess the entire unit. In order to get full closure you need to use 100 units.

Ground the legs down with Dremel and doors are snug on forward edge, slightly open on backside due to rake.

Nothing major other than making sure that your LG can operate smoothly in and out of the wheel wells in the wings. That and regluing the hatch magnets was the only necessary extra attention needed on mine.

sweet just had a successful maiden! seemed maybe a lil tail heavy? kept wanting to go up so I had to hold it down the entire flight and keep the throttle up. of coarse the landing gear worked good on land but when coming for the approach only one came down, oh well got it back in one piece cant complain, im running a 3300 4 cell fits like a glove

Bullworm - good to hear about your maiden. Yeah, the retracts dont like cold weather. Below 50 they start to act up and below 40 forget about it

I hear you there about the retracts. I fly occasionally over the winter, but mostly stick to my non retract planes. Either that or just don't operate the retracts
