Flyfly Fox, 3 meter aerobatic glider.
Just got the 3 meter Fox.
A cheap scalaglider, from flyfly. Fuselage is more than great, but the wings are not the best but they do the job. You can get it in 2 versions, elektro or normal glider. This one is the elektro version, because the glider was out of stock. ![]() There is just a very small hole in the nose for the motor axel, and i just put in a piece of epp and cut it into shape with a knife. ![]() And the flying is real cool. ![]() ![]()

Excellent flying, you make the model look like it's a lot more expensive than it is
![]() How bad are the wings? Flown it on the slope yet or just aerotow? Steve |

Sloping
My Fly fly FOX, first time at the slope.
+20 knots wind, perfekt conditions for this bird. I realy like this cheap glider, realy a pleasure to fly, no tip stall or other nasty things, and all time in control. And looks real cool in the air. ![]() Today 3 flights and 2,5 hours ![]()

Fox Pilot
Hi
I am Barbie the pilot, and I just got a new job piloting this Fox. It is the second aerobatic plane that I will fly. The first was a Pitts S2a, that I crashed in a inverted loop, where I ran out of height, due to wrong dualrate switch setting ![]() But I survived and is now fresh to fly this highly aerobatic glider, and I will fly the Fox beyond its limits, just like I did with the Pitts ![]() Cheers Barbie |

CG and weight
Hi guys,
Let me a question, we have 2 FlyFly Foxes on our airfield but we are not able to bring them to fly. Or better to say "fly comfortable". They are both pretty unstable. Weight is somewhere arround 2800 g and the CG 80 mm from LE as in plan. So I would ask about your settings ? Did you changed the CG ? Thanks |

Set up
Hi
My Flyfly Fox set up for aerobatic. Very fast steering, so set the dual rate to around 70 % throw for the first flights. And use the expo I do, this will give a nice feeling with the glider. ![]()
Good luck. S |

Thanks for the great video. Yesterday I add 40% expo on elevator and reduced a little bit the angle of attack and it seems to be ok now. Very nice rolls and loops... Maybe I'll try do add some additional weight (300 - 400g) for aerobatics
