Man EMS was really quick this holiday season, they got all the EMS packages in the US and EUR pilot hands in 3 days...now that's cool! Hope they keep it up!!

John, Did you sharpie over it or is that PS? Looks great. Had a chance to check it's stiffness yet? I'd love to hear how it compares to benchmark planes like the Polaris, Helios, Fr3aK, etc.

Little Sharpie love. I had to!

It's stiffer then my Helios is but equal to my XXlite. The Carboline is surprisingly rigid. Textreme is even more so.

Should match my Polaris wing quite nicely

Wow! Those are looking very nice indeed. Love that custom paint.

I finally got a DX8 to replace my stolen 9503. So now I can finally center some servos and get on with the build.

Matt

Glad you have a tx to work with again Matt. I am very frustrated at disappointed in burglaries; When I was growing up in Vancouver our family business got broken into several times, and our house was broken into as well, and never received any assistance from the Police other than coming to take a look at telling us it would be impossible to catch them, and that catching them would have no point because they will be out again soon. I've been living in HK now for a year and half and never hear about break in's, no one has house alarms, and I've probably left my door unlocked a dozen times already.... grew up always hearing about how 'wild' and uncivilized people are here...nope!

It's actually a great honor to see, so many pilots like the nationalcolours of Denmark. painting their wingtips red/white =Danish dynamite.

Matching colors everywhere - DLG, shoes, even the wing bag! From a distance, that wing looks just like a Polaris, and the fuse isn't far off, but the tailfeathers give it away. Are those older or newer style tails? I've only seen pictures of the full-carbon kind.

Cheers, Charles

In the air yet John?
Glad it got there quickly Tim, can't wait to see all the Neos' at the JEM!!!

Would it be possible for the Neos drivers to grab a group pic together for facebook? That would be really cool...

Charles, those are the glass version of the new tails, on average 2.5g lighter than the carbon tails so they're great for bringing the AUW down, especially for the carboline planes.

Not yet. By this weekend for sure. Where do the servos bays need to be cut at in the wing? this is the last thing I need to do and I am done.{suggestions}? I mocked it up. Looks like the carboline Neos at 70.5mm CG will be 260-261 grams.

Xxlite is currently 256 grams and is a missile. Can't weight to fly this thing considering I love Scott's Neos at 10.5 oz.

John, take a look at the first post for all the setup/build dimensions and info, should be all there. Servo arms are 50mm from root, behind the wing spars.

260's a good weight, should be very well flying. My 'old' one is at 262g and my new CNC prototype is at 255g, I love 'em and fly them unballasted all the time. I do need to get a standard plane built before the WC though, I hear Denmark's very windy!!??!

Mr. Lee:

Any word on your wing supplier? The last we talked, he seemed hurt pretty bad, but I see airplanes are flowing out again.

Yours, Greg
