Pics of the latest wings. I'm really happy to announce that we have started production on the new foam we've been testing, along with the upped layup and spar.

Light Carbon layups went from 1 full length and 1 half length carbon rod spar, to 2 full length carbon rod spars, both top and bottom on each wing half.
Standard Carbon layups went from 1 full length carbon rod spar, to 1 full length and 1 half length carbon rod spar.
Weights on these first 2 production wings with the new materials and layups are 102 and 122 grams untrimmed and uncut for flaperons.

Yellow's Craig's and white's Jeff's
Will be working on John's 2 planes and Tim's plane this week

Wow these look great Thomas! I can't wait to see Dave's. Those weights are outstanding. Did Dave get the new foam?

Thomas. Does the new foam allow a better adhesion of the skin to the foam?

BavarianCharles,

I am so glad to hear that there are others flying in this way. I have been doing that with my Topsky 2 all year and have had increadibly good results. I find that there isn't a good quick setting to answer all conditions, so using my left stick to adjust the camber allows for the most flexibility.

Happy Flying, Ben

Haha, I was just glancing through the waitlist and noticed how most of the Neos' are either yellow or white trim...with few exceptions!

Hi Thomas

I think yellow or white are the best colors to see, from far away.

I must be very close to the top of the waiting list,
and looking forward to receive mine.

David, yes, the new foam is a much finer cell structure than the last foam, which really helps increase the strength of the bond because of larger contact area.

Post man brought my Neos to me today. Silver lining in a gray cloud, because I had my 9503 and umx S-bach stolen out of my truck last night

Anyway the Neos looks outstanding and I can't wait to get started with the build.
