Me with my new light Neos and buddy Robust with his new standard Neos, both using 3-in-pod installation.

Looks like trouble to me

Whats the story with the wing? Come on, spill it.

New wing design for the CNC milled Neos
Will make you guys wait a bit on the details of the wing, but from computer analysis right now it should have better L/D, better min sink, and speeds for best L/D and best min/sink is closer together so it is overall more efficient. SSShhh!!!!

A friend of mine threw my light Neos at ~250grams on Sunday, 193 feet, 190 feet, 190 feet. I like this light layup more and more! Flew it 90% of Sunday in high winds and had no trouble coming home.

Fried chicken!!?

I know what I'm eating before the next contest, the only question is 'original' or 'extra launch height'.

Nice work-

Just got my Neos...

It's amazing how stiff the boom is. It's probably the stiffest boom I've seen so far. Minimal flex. Probably less than .5 inch lateral flex when forced. Light, solid and sexy, too.
Beautiful wings! My first carbon wing ever. I like!!! Since I haven't seen a Zone wing up close, I didn't think it was that thin. I was thinking of using MKSservos 6100 but they might stick out. This plane deserves D65k bling with see-through covers!

Thomas, thanks for a great looking plane so far, bud.

I'm a slow builder so bear with me.

Soar!

The new pricing is for the carbonfiber version.

Jason, just stop by your nearest KFC before a contest!

Glad you like it Jun, go at whatever speed suits you, just make sure you build it nicely!
Think this will be the first 65K install in a Neos, man those servos look good!!

Hi NZ7C, my apologies, the website is a little dated. The $399 is for the Kevlar version which we no longer produce, the current prices are for our 2 carbon versions.

Thanks, 3d Dave. 'quick' is a relative term... Lol!
Depends on who's building it.
I've actually never put winghalves together.

I really like how spacious and open the gear compartment/canopy is.
Did I mention how stiff the fuze is? Lol

Soar!

Then you should study Oleg's taboo building guide - especially starting at step 11 with the wing joint - he has some really good details (study that picture of the root prep carefully - every detail is important!)

I'd be curious to compare notes with you on the Neos vs the Fr3aK...
