No throttle control for EFlight Park280
I have recently purchased a Park 280, a 10 amp ESC, and a new Spektrum DX6i. I believe I have the 2s 800 mah battery charged and everything connected correctly (ESC in the throttle port, battery polarity, etc). Everything seems to cycle throught the power up correctly.
The problem is, when I begin to advance the throttle, the motor spins up very quickly for 2-3 seconds then drops to a very low idle for another 2-3 seconds and then shuts off as if the battery were too low and cuts off the drive power (like a BEC). This happens wheather or not I move the throttle lever to any setting and it doesn't control any of the motor speed, however the motor will stop if I return the throttle to zero. When I do return the throttle to zero I can immediately repeat the same problem again. The rest of the controls still work while this is going on.
So, I am not sure if this is motor, radio, esc, or battery issue. Any help will be appreciated.

those little eflite speedo's all come set to 3s and they do not have auto detect.
MANY people have run into this issue over the years.
