It is the real deal.

Mounted the z15 right out of the box in less then one hour.
8 screws 2 cables the and you get that video.
I don't complain over the price when you get that standard right away.

Nice vid rsun.
That gimbal vid of yours shows a very well balanced gimbal even with the lens cap on.

DJI s800 Zenmuse Z15 with sony NEX5N lens : 18mm lens (3 min 8 sec)

Quote:
the picture in picture shows you the actual feed from the Sony.
its Just about the stabilisation!
forgive the poor quality coming from the Sony , the problem was that the lens was to heavy for the mount and you can see small wobbling.
perfect would be a 16F28 pancake.
i just didnt had one at the time

just have a look about the horizontal en vertical stabilisation
note :
Roll and tilt are in SLEW mode ,
the mount itself has a 3 way mode to keep stabilising.
it is by far out the best i ever seen for a Small affordable drone(maybe a 500000 wescam ).
as you can see the special policeforce uses them :-)
i am just demonstating the digital link on the ground (for bomb disposal)
that is a 5,8 Ghz 100 mw COFDM , it is self powered for over 8 hours strait.
it records the image real life and you can copy to memory stick in seconds.
case is waterproof.

okay great thats the one I have. The manual just confused me stating nothing for support lens for the GH2 and than for (not yet supported) the 14mm, so i thought there will be a different lens supported first.

Thanks

Boris

That being said I fly and love DJI products so I have no reason of talking ill of there products.

Woohoo got mine. Right out of the box and slapped it on my S800 in about 10min. Wind was gusting from 10 - 15mph. (Trees block the wind when closer to the house, more windy near the road).

Boring video in my front yard, raw video right from the camera uploaded to youtube. Not even put into any editing software.

DJI Zenmuse Z15 - First test. (4 min 36 sec)

Next video will be more interesting. I just couldn't wait to try it out.

Hello ...

Did you guys mount the Z15 controller on the gear or "within" the S800?

best regards

Very nice. One question: did you roll the copter in the scene starting at 1.11?
I saw the yaw moving in the promo video at 0.34 as well and wondered if it's normal:
