Assignment one man operation
My flight controls as much as possible are on the left side and gimbal on the right

Futaba 8fgs
Starting left to right
sf=fpv mode up or down (only gimbal control on left)
se= off/course/poi
sa=gps/atti/man
sb=standby/neutral/go home
ld=pan sub trim
rd =roll
sc=h trace/reset/h free
sd= tilt up/down
sg= pan l/ pan r
sh= shutter

2 man is same
except sf operates the trainer mode. (may make it sh)

The way the trainer option works is easy once you have it going.

i am using a wtr 7 which gives are wireless link between 2 transmitters. (upto 7 channels on trainer )
I have the setting for 2 man as above.

With trainer mode enabled

using the mix function I remap the elevator and rudder controls of the 2nd controller to the gimbal pan and tilt controls. I also make them vpp (rather than elv and ail as this allows me to change the curves and make the pan and tilt to be much smoother at start and end of the move.
I remap any other control (upto seven) so the camera op can start the camera ajust roll etc etc.

hope this helps

I see, so the WTR 7 is the Futaba wireless trainer link.

Guess, I need to get one of those.

Thanks for sharing that in such great detail.

Yes I have one, it's ok one of the cells seems to be low and it takes a long time to balance, I fly conservatively and land at 3.6 I get about 12 minutes of flight time, (fully loaded) but I think I will get longer when I have finished tweaking.
I think its a good battery for the s800 but very expensive, I am going to try the dupu once I can find a way of getting them from china, they are 1/3 the cost, I would rather have 3 of them than one max amps, (although they are yet to be tested here)

Wow! Those maxamps 11000s are really expensive!

DUPU 10400 is also available in Taobao, btw.

Carbon Hex Frame 800mm m2m 500gr:

I run on 4S8000 (750gr Zippy) gives about 10-12min flighttime,
AUW with Video Downlink with batteries but without langing legs: 4300gr

This setup is ok up to 4500gr. If you add more equip, add more weight it will not work.

Please let me state, that this is not a recommended copter for the Z15, use at your own risk, DJI recommends the S800.

best regards

In fact I have better reliability with these cheap cells than with some more expensive ones and I am not alone.

So I don't know why I should buy some LiPo from a German brand (in my case) if I can just source the batteries from their origin myself without all the margins for different resellers bleeding into the resale price.
One fact that speaks for the 11000 Maxamps is the low weight for the amount of MHa you can use. 1280 gr. is quite low. I have very save 15 minutes with them, 17 minutes with 20% left in the Lipo.

The reason to go for "German" Lipo brands start when traveling with S800/Z15 and Lipos. You will never ever get any large 6S HK lipos into a plane, you have to have written certificates that are not available for any of those HK Lipos.

Same counts for any Lipos > 5000. So you alway need to decide your preferred Lipo Brand and Size according to your further plans od usage.

Are there any reason to not fly with 2x5000mAh packs of this one:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._6S1P_25C.html

does anyone here fly with Turnigy\Rhino\zippo ?
25c should be OK to use on the s800 z15 ?

I just purchased 4 6S 25-50C 5000mAh Turnigy Nano-Tech lipos. I have never had a problem with them.
