are you sure Z is -3 i think it's +3

The question is:

CG is 3 cm below IMU

or

IMU is 3cm above the CG ?

I always struggle to understand

For GPS it's minus so it must be the same for IMU as CG is below both

Which firmware are you using on your S800 and have you had problems with it or has things been good

You can always split a 4 cell into 2 two cells and solder each of those 2 cells to another 4 cell to get two 6 cells. Lol ... that has a high potential for confusion. As long as the packs are of the same type, this works nicely. You just use 3 identical 4 cell batteries to get two 6 cell batteries.

But for my 6K$ i dont want to gamble on some bad soldering

Yeah, I know what you mean. On that note, it suprises me how many s800 owners are using "cheapo" lipos. I won't name any particular battery brands, as I don't want to rub any one wrong, and I think we all have a notion of what batteries fall into this category. For my s800, I have 2x 6200 mAh 35C Neu Energy batteries. They are premium batteries, which, of course, I had to pay for ($290 for both, which I don't think is that bad for premium lipos). They are lightweight, compact, have a long lifespan, and are very reliable. If I didn't go for these, I would have gone for either Thunder Powers or Hyperions ... period.

How about this for the s800 17 mins flight time fully loaded and about $150
