@yeehaanow

I have ground recording and OSD during the flight, but I do not expect the bird to come down. In particular that forest I know very well, my colleagues an me already spent countless hours over the years in searching for the one or other RC-model. But now it has become easier, since there is support from the copters .

@miza
not too far, that was about 1km

best regards

Stopped at a friends farm last week for a few minutes... Didn't want to freak his cows out too much since his fences weren't that great. So didn't shoot a ton of video.

Also having issues with my ImmersionRC system, video has ghosting and is very washed out and signal breaks up being only 50' away. I think it might be my receiver. I just switched back to my old foxtech 5.8ghz and its working great and hopefully shoot more this weekend. I think I'll order the ImmersionRC DUO and see how that works.

Ferdinand,
I've always thought such flight can only be done by helicams. Excellent flight skills. I'm really getting excited to get my z15 next week.

I am using a fixed aperture (f4.5-f8.0)now. The rest is set to automatic (focus, lens correction, ...) recording in 1080 50p (28M)

Hi guys,

Today I am pretty excited since I had my fist shoot with a model. Ok, I have no connections to a 90/60/90 babe, so I had to take what I could get. Possibly the mouth is a bit big (4,3m), the weight is a bit high (12t) and the look is a bit green, but at least you do not need to talk a lot.

Shoots are taken with aperture f8.0 and most scenes with 18mm, since I have a zoom, I also used (about) 30mm.

The "horizont" and if it is leveled or not has also a lot to do if the copter is leveled or not. For the next time I will take a bubble level with me, but today it was hard to find a "good" leveled place for takeoff.

best regards

Hi Ferdinand.

Smooth! Aside from the horizon level, the only minor thing that needs to tuned I think is the pan. Seems a little rough or abrupt to stop and start.

You're still flying this on a carbon hexa, right?

Thanks!

Thank you for your comment. The panning is a point I have to work on and practice. I am controlling the pan with my little finger on the left hand. The sensitivity of the slider I will have to reduce even more.
The copter is still the same hexa.

best regards
