Is anyone running the 16-50mm Sony lens on their NEX 5N Zenmuses? Results? good/bad?

I have many issues with the first generation of HDMI board. For example, lost of video, color banding, etc etc. Sometimes, only touching the HDMI cable works fine, but take off and then fails again... I'm concerned...

Got the words from my good 'source"; Zenmuse GoPro will be ready in March. I will update pricing and specs after Chinese New Year........
It will be two versions; 2-axis and 3-axis. Likely both WKM and Naza controller will support both versions.

I've also been battling since day one to get a decent video downlink. I always had it in 2 pilot config and my cameraman always complained. I could never really see what he meant. (Him flying with FatShark).
Today I re-wired for single pilot and had a monitor in front of me while flying. Video signal only comes through in erratic short bursts with long pauses in between.
Whenever I touch the HDMI connector/cable it does transmit. I could also clearly see the LED changing from flashing red to solid green once I touched the cable.

What could it be? The cable with a intermittent fault? Bad shielding? The HDMI socket on camera? The converter board? ( I have V1) or even perhaps the zenmuse itself (cabling/brushes to the GCU)? Or is it a common problem on V1 board????

Any ideas and help much appreciated.

If only there were spares readily available in this country

I also have problems with HDMI cable. I have to twist it in different directions to get a signal. And than it works ok. But it was working without a glitch when new.

My bigger problem is roll drift. Sometimes event unexpected pan drift. I really don't know what to do. Is there a problem in radio setup or WKM, compass?
I will go one firmware back. I hope it helps.

@quadslo Do you also still have V1 HDMI board?

If the roll drift (I have it also) is due to compass? Who knows. I'll find out once I get a new one (still not having a proper one since the FOD firmware bug)

I have V1 board and GH2 version. I think the problem is with the connector at the camera. Bad contact of one or more wires.

Autoquad Alexmos gimbal test (2 min 36 sec)

AlexMos Simple BGC (3 min 42 sec)

And I suppose soon we could see one with encoders which will be even better..
