Gopro hero 2 adds lots of in camera sharpening, this also accentuates noise when shooting in low light with the hero2. i'm sure gp3 adds in camera sharpening as well. NEX does not add as much in camera sharpening, this is not a bad thing. Add shapening in your edit.

@Sid, excited to see some raw gp3 footage. Which lens will you use? We all know the 16mm is shite! After all the noise about this topic let's hope your test and observations are not tainted in any way kidding

Hi Roberto,

I know that video pretty well but that guy is balancing a NEX7 were the base plate is almost at the bottom out of factory. For the NEX5N there is the need to lower it so it is not touched or described in that vid

Tony, I checked too. I don't think they have them for online order and in store pickup yet. I am going to go down to the local BB and check it out tomorrow.

I just looked online and it says pre-order.

When I seen pre-order on GP's site I assumed no stores would get them untill then.

Now I am on the hunt.

Would love to see video from the GoPro Hero 3 on a day that is not bright and sunny. Whomever is testing please try shooting at dusk or dawn as well. Thanks!

I just checked with BB and my local store only got 3 and they were gone on Sunday. There are none to be had in the entire Las Vegas metroplex. Oh, well, it saves me some money.
