The order arrived from Kintec yesterday (along with another from OSE) so went back to work on the Titan today. Last night I pulled the 1521 and esc out of the DF33. Had to do a little surgery on the servo platform to install the stuffing tube support but got it in.

After thinking about it for a bit decided to mount the esc a little further forward than originally planned and had to make up a bracket for that. With the weight of the sub hatch and main hatch on the boat it moved the cg back a bit and needed to compensate.

Most of the hard stuff is done now. Still need to clean up the wires and install the rx but it's almost RTR.

Looks alot better with the painted windshields and yellow stripe!

Bill great job I have two titans one with a cc1520 and another with a 4082 they both are a blast. It is also a good rough water boat if CG is set up properly good luck with it

Just as a wild guess i bet he's in the 32% range...............we'll find out when he replies i guess.........

Should be ready to get wet next Sunday if it's weather fit Chris. It's actually finished already except for maybe some more decals and lubing the flex shaft. I just put the finishing touches on it a few minutes ago. Took some time this morning to go and fly for a bit then got back on it after lunch.

I guess this is an uncalled for bump but just finished the decals and getting the Titan prepped for Sunday. I thought the photos came out looking pretty good and just couldn't help myself.

It really looks good now Bill..................the double hatch is kinda growin on me........

Thanks scorp. I took it to the back of my van to get it away from the clutter in the house for the pix and with "real" light it don't look too bad. I still don't care that much for the double canopy but will live with it if it handles decent.

You need to find a way to secure the cooling line from the rudder to the transom inlet. The first thing that will happen is it will wind up getting cut by the prop. Ask me how I know......

If you want me to ask how you know I probably don't need to ask.
I'll see if I can come up with a standoff of some kind to keep it out of the props way before Sunday.

I have to say the Titan was a real dissapointment on it's 1st outing. Although it corners well it doe not like running in a straight line at all. Chine walk, jumping and in general being a pain in the

There were trim tab adjustments, moving packs forward, changing the stinger angle. Nothing really seemed to help

I cant see much from the distant vid, is it riding up too high? I went back to check the placement of the driveline hole and it seems like it's high enough............hmmm.

Maybe it needs a fair amount of tabs and bit positive stinger..............................??

I gotta learn to keep my mouth shut when I'm wearing that GoPro. I just finally got aroud to actually watching the vid a few minutes ago.

I tried more positive on the angle of the stinger, more tabs, moving the packs up about 3", switching props to the X646/3 that I was runing on the DF.

Larry (in our club) has a Titan 29 and he says the stinger needs to be about 1/4" higher than where it is now because of the way those hulls are made. Wish I'd known that before putting it together where it's at.)
I'm thinking I may put a wet stuffing tube in and run a strut ala PB Impulse style.
