A Tale of Two Cuties
It was the best of times it was .
Only good times here. I built a SR Batteries Cutie and Acropro in the early 2000s. Both are modified and are flying well today. The Cutie has been modified with a straight wing with ailerons. Flaperons on the Cutie are great for slow flying and graceful approaches to landing. I was never thrilled with the performance of the Acropro with the original first-gen brushless motor and sub C size batteries. Now with a modern outrunner with lipos it now weighs about 11 oz. less than in the original configuration. Both models use the Supertigre .10 and what a great motor it is.
