I vote for Sony Hexacopter and Gimbal with mass production prices! LOL
They will sell the role package ready to fly and you can even control it from your coach with PS3 joystick in a oled 100" 3D TV!

Just a joke, but the way things go we may even see something like this in a near future...
Multi-rotors are the biggest Hobby-toy fever worldwide that is spreading like a virus!

@tc

And proprietary solutions are sometimes much better. tc I truly enjoy your presence on the forum. You have made some significant contributions. One, we have not seen the actual product in the hands of users, like you and me. Sorry, I remember you only fly junk, so maybe just me and some others that are not so cynical. Two, the price is reasonable for the frame. The Zenmuse gimbal could be arguable but with the discounts and what it offers, it is competitive. I personally would never use a 3 axis gimbal. I will be interested when the 2 axis is available. I have a heli with a DJI controller and my Multi's that I would like to use it on.

Hi Ed,

Yeah, I definitely do not want it, well, OK, not unless Sidney will deliver it for me. Then I'll make an exception.

If I remember correctly, he offered to fly you to Shenzhen a while ago. I don't think you took him up on his offer.

About the S800, I wonder what type of lipo you need to use. On the S800 minisite they mention a 15000 mAh lipo which costs 420$. If you need to add this on top of the S800 price, even discounted, it remains an exploding budget.

Anyone knows if you can fly the S800 with anything else than this 15000 mAh battery ?
What about more regular, low cost lipos ?

The 15A 6S lipo that DJI is selling is the basis for the 20min flying time. You can use any 6S lipo but your flying time will vary. I have 3 5000mAh 6S lipos. I can connect them together to get the same result. You can buy less expensive and more expensive to get to the same result. I am interested in how long it will take me charge to it. I can charge at 2C but that is such a large lipo, I just don't know.

No offense. That kind of stuff seems perfectly kosher at the time. I'm feelin' it.

Although mostly I eschew pedestrian fauna (ie. cows and kittens) and quantify my units of measurements in midget hookers, abbreviated "mh" --always lower-case.--

Otherwise, I'm waiting for an independent review. I think the buy early discount to be a touch shady considering their extra special discounted pre-release price on the WKM Wookong.
Lol, it was the Jack daniel's whiskey and coca cola with shrimp cocktails typing.

Hi

Just to make sure: I need to have either WK-M or AceOne to make Zenmuse work? So it is not a standalone system? Furthermore I don´t need anything else from DJI than WK-M or AceOne to make Zenmuse work?

I'm also working to get all the specs and questions answered.

Please be a little patient, I'm trying to get all facts.

Note: You can also order direct from DJI China. I'm just providing support to the USA and existing customers of ours for the DJI's new high end products.
Non-USA customers please contact DJI China.

Thanks

I'd like to see more pictures of the frame. Maybe a video showing the arms snap on and off.

Also how much are replacement props?

Its a very fluid situation and we are working on getting all the information out.

I understand the frustration of not knowing.
