Just wondering guys what we doing evening meal wise?
Is it BBQ or over to pub? Just so I can sort out what to bring  The way weather it's looking maybe worth pub for both evenings???I've not got any BBQ kit so thinking I'd ask before getting anything in

I reckon pub Friday night and possibly a BBQ on saturday depending on the forecast. Terry and I can bring a BBQ etc. I am sure there is a supermarket nearby if needs be

There's no anything near by. Bring as much as you can on Friday. No cash machine near either.
BBQ for me. will bring a small one and meat. Not much in the way of phone signal either. Weather looking pretty good at the moment! Paul. |

Yup been checking every online forcast I can think of and Saturday is looking good! Fridays is not that bad either

News flash!
Looks like Richard was right to question the state of the campsite.... I have been in contact with the owner. It is waterlogged. He has had to cancel loads of people. The pitch we had booked with electric hookup is not useable. I have managed to organise a space of our own in the top field. This does of course mean no hookup... There will be plug points onsite to do any charging we need. Not ideal but in true Anglo/French style I'm sure we'll make the best of it! Paul. |

Paul I've a 650 watt geni I can bring if we need a bit of power it's basic but works ok (last time I checked) i'll give it a test on Thursday to make sure

Ha Ha Hogg! I reckon it's 'cos you made 8000 posts without flaming anyone, posting loads of good stuff, no sneaky hidden business ads and generally being cool.
Re: Electricity, I will be bringing a 1000w inverter with 4 way socket for low power applications like small chargers. Big ole fridge might work on gas with a bit of coaxing. We are an inventive bunch, so being in the top field and doing our own thing sounds good to me. Towrope added to packing inventory. Cheers! Andrew |
