Olivier,

Have you booked a place on the campsite as you are not on Paul's list?
I would not want you, and your provisions, to be turned away!

We have a site with an electric hookup where we'll all be together. Works out at £10 pp per night.

I've booked Me, Chargenut, Daveb, Badllama, Richard and Andrew in for Friday and Saturday night. I took a gamble on you staying both nights Badllama.

Anyone else wanting to join can phone the campsite and hopefully they can add you. My sirname is Farmer.

Paul.

Sorry,

Haven't checked in here for a while. Been very busy selling a motorcycle, buying one and building a concrete base and a shed to store it in!

Olivier, glad to hear you are coming. Have you contacted the campsite, as it is possible it is booked up. It is unlikely that there will be room for another tent on the pitch we have booked. You may have to put your tent in the overflow field (which looks very nice).

My pitch will only have a van on it, so there will be room for a tent there.

My. sirname is Farmer.

fpvnick, its probably best to cap the numbers as i doubt there will be space in the campsite for more, and a big convoy on the tiny lanes we'll be using would be a night mare!

So bleak that I can't make it but I will make sure I raise a glass or two to you fine fellows and the no doubt daring deeds and devilish decisions made over that weekend.

I am just about to send a warning to the local press.

Can everyone let me know what kind of tent/Winnebago they are bringing, so I can get something booked?

Cheers

Also me! I booked a place at the campsite, forgot to tell anyone about it though!

Thanks Terry,

If I had more money than sense I would definately be bringing one of these....
Chap at work says that being van-shaped instead of tent-shaped, together with minimal guy-ropage apparently makes it quite airworthy.

Once the price drops I might be tempted...if they have one in yellow.

In the meantime we are off in our real van next weekend to a music festival. Wellies, packamac, playing cards and wine packed. (Might squeeze in the quad as well)

Really looking forward to UKAP, just need the remaining quota of rain for July to fall this next fortnight and we should be OK.

Cheers all!

Yep be good to see some new faces!

Also just been reading the website linked from your QR code... nice work on putting something back into the community!
Some of us have flown at Richmond Park in the past (at an AP meet actually, where we got moved on by the local constabulary! - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=499428)

Cheers,
Terry.
