Well, they say it's original. I know you can buy the dark grey canopy, I've never seen black, but I was never looking for it.

based on the pics, it 'looks' like an authentic LB with the 2 orange props replaced with 2 black, and a painted canopy. on the canopy you can see the original LB contours (line down the middle and curve for the head), but walkera never sold a canopy black like that from the factory.

the fact then they say it was just opened only to check the contents makes me go "hmm..."

also, I would think orientation while flying that would be quite difficult!

True, but that can easily be rectified by two new props (or a whole new set).

I can see the desire of a seller on ebay to check the contents/condition before shipping to avoid defects from the factory (or their source), but yes, it does make you go hmmm.

Looks good. You made all of those mods (black canopy, all black props) right?

I have white lights in front, and red in the rear. Works for me. I may just put the black props on! Always looking to make it a little more rad!

Did the micro soldering and it works! One of the pins was annoying, I had to do the same one 3 times because for some reason it didn't want to connect, so I added a little more solder... It works great! v949 frame, with the ladybird v1.0 board and gws props ROCKS! pure awesomeness! Its more fun than my dji f450 lol... Now I just gotta get the wide angle lens for my nano cam. And I can fly everywhere!

Hooray. It took me about 20 minutes to wrestle that mosfet and solder a leg down. Lucky for me, another sucessful operation. Good as new again. Now watch them shorts!

Yea soldering such small stuff is a pain, but I got the mosfet to stay by getting it tacked down to the solder with a torch flame. Then I just made sure the solder reflowed well with the solder iron and added a tiny bit, works great! My v949 is perfect now, I wont need to remove the arms unless they break (doubt that will happen) so I added some CA to assure I dont pull and arm/motor mount out accidentally again and get the wires shorted. I have an extra mosfet just in case though, lol. (but the numbers on the chip are different, but it works the same, full throttle the quad stays level as it rockets up... Getting it down is the problem, I need to add more weight (fpv gear should be good enough)...

Yep, just flat black spray paint and extra prop sets. Wipe the canopy down with rubbing alcohol prior to painting, removing all fingerprints, grease, jet fuel etc. Just make sure it's nice and dry before painting.
Paint applies much better that way.
