First, last and allways both V1/V2 out fly all mico clones hands down. V1 flys just a tad better than V2. No big deal. I have not used Devo 4 but have used 2402D and works fine. Better is Devo 7 TX as bigger/ more functions/ had ball bearing gimbals and full sized sticks. Devo 7e had plastic sticks and non ball bearing gimbals, but has telemetry. That feature is useless for tiny quad as kills flight time. If I were to fly much bigger quads I would go for Devo 10 or Devo 8s. I just recieved Xeceed Ladybird and comes in Walkrea box but has different canopy. Looks real cool flying and handles very nice.

I am going to order the RTF that Xheli has for $49.00 today.
1- Is that a good price?
2- Is there a cheaper ARF version availible?
3-I am also getting the majic cube to fly it with my 2801 pro TX.Has any one else done this?
4- I am getting a spare battery, but what spare parts should i get without breaking the bank?
Thanks guys,Mark

Thanks guys,Mark
A couple of frames and a couple of motors will ensure that you will keep flying

Just finished making mine neater with the fpv kit.

Still could do with tidying the wires a bit more, but it flies almost as well as with nothing added.

I was a bit bummed when I thought the telemetry reception on the 7E would shorten flight times too so I asked on another thread...

This response from FDR_;

Yep.
There is nothing in the sent out binding and data packages, that would instruct the rx whether it should send telemetry data or not...

So in other words the telemetry is already being sent by the Rx therefore flight times shouldn't change at all while monitoring telemetry. It might affect the Tx batteries, by how much I've no idea.

Here are some more pictures.
On the LB board I moved the wires around to make some space.
The camera is the 2g one from firstpersonview.co.uk, the vtx is a TX5813 bought with a matching receiverfrom eBay, the battery is pulled from a cheap toy helicopter.

The two connectors are there from when I was trying to power an 808 #16v2 and the VTX, so I can remove one from the battery.

The #16 version was quite heavy and couldn't fly very long, this is more like stock. The canopy+fpv gear only comes to about 9g, the #16 without case was 10g at least. Total weight is 41g ish (I need a better set of scales...

It lifts off on under 50% throttle, has no trouble keeping itself stable and flies nicely.

Very cool! What is the range? And how is the video quality?

So this is why I can't have nice things!!

I broke my micro HD cam already. hahahaa

So nice out today, strapped it to the ladybird and took it up. I kept going up and up till it was just a spec in the sky. No idea which way it was pointing.. I'm pretty sure it lost connection and that's when it started falling to earth. RIght on the concrete, smashed the quad rotor and the camera will not power on now. Hooked to USB and the power light comes on for charging, but no function button and can't see it on the PC.

Gah! I need to find another now. I bet it is a great video if it didn't get corrupt! I can't find a micro SD reader.

I picked up another Ladybird and the body was black.
So I looked through my junk box and found a V911 heli body.
I added a bit of foam to fill in the rear and added a tail.
It sure makes orientation a lot easier!
