Hello Guizmo

i'l try to join you this year but not avalaible to do all the
AltitudeRC organisation... sorry

I think that all the pilot should accept to pay$ more to
help you get a big shelter in case of rain or excessive sun & heat.

Last year, the farm owner charge us big fees wich drawn
most of our revenues... pilots actually get a lot for what they
pay last year ! thanks to our sponsor again

Since this event happend in my city with lots of house in the
area, i'm asking , again this year , to avoid all gas model and
take care with eletric EDF that can also close the event in case
of excessive noise (2010 event was close by POLICE you
remember )

i think this spot is wonderfull to fly , but we need to take care of
the surrounding people :

FPV site scenario... (1 min 28 sec)

Last year sponsor thanks video :
immersion a BOUCHairVILLE (3 min 43 sec)

A little higher fee is not a problem if we get some shelter for the sun and rain, like a tent. Should be big enough to put the planes inside if it rains. Be aware that it is costly though, unless you have a sponsor like the city or a buisiness. I doubt you could have such a sponsor though because the event is closed to the public.

The other alternatives could be:
1- to mow a bigger pit area and each flyer can install his own gazebo and chairs. No table or center shelter so everyone has more room. .

2- Have a shelter like last year but for people only so everyone can benefit from the shade. Planes can stay outside. I don't understand why people bring planes they have to work on anyway, when going to an event like this, your gear should be ready and in flying order. Bring a spare in case you crash. If you crash both...well...take flying lessons

Love it also ... last year one pilot burned one of my table with his irron and most of the
3 table i have bring serve as model repair or building ? we are now 90 days ahead of this event and you all have plenty of time to built now

Also agree with 2 planes ( mulet ) :
fpv plane are expensive $ but serious pilot should all try to afford at least 2 FPV plane...
for me , i chose to have one and only hobby : FPV ... all my $ go in this LOL

I agree with fees that goes with big shelter and many individual
smaller shelter from all pilot is the best $ idea . Remember that
small cheap shelter do not resiste to 25+kmh wind... you need to
add heavy duty strap to ground at each corner

last year i was happy to share my shelter (Guizmo took a part of the event
money to pay lumbers & tarp) but it was not big enough...

Table are also practical, please bring your own...

2 big tent will be available for flyers. The pit will be bigger mainly because we are waiting for pilots.

We will have another plane to give from Icare-RC !
