I don't know most of the higher up at the AMA. Or at least I don't think I do. I've had a couple of run in's with a variety of people. Most don't introduce themselves then ask me to stop doing something.
But the more experienced a person gets the more he thinks everyone needs to follow rules. I'm just hoping I don't fall into that one day.

Here is some more about James Cameron's Dive

We learned at Havasu that Jim Drew and XPS have a connection to this adventure, the robotics are using some their servos. I did not realize that James Cameron is actually going to be in a sub, 7 miles down

I'm torn. My wife says I can buy a new plane. But I'm just not sure what to get. I realize given my skill level it will have to be somewhat durable. Suggestions?

A guy was selling a Stuka at the Chandler Bowl last weekend; still has it. Vic will know him, he works for EJF and FedEx. Slightly crashed but repaired (foam) and very affordable. RX ready so you can't say you didn't have time to build it...

Not sure I want another Stuka. Mine is such a pain. Someone will need to help with line up the silly flaps. Jim remembers. I won't be getting a kit again. ARF only.

That is one sweet plane but, you'll have to wait until mid-March.

Here's what I am doing Jeremy. I am staying away from retracts, tail draggers and flaps for now. If I am going to be doing some street flying I need something with ground control and short landings. As unglamorous as it is, I am considering building another PZ T28 and hop it up + cool paint.

I have two PZ T28. I toying around with the idea of painting it now. I've gotten pretty lucky I have a friend with a garage full of planes and parts and no time to fly. One of these days I'm going to help him clean out his garage. He has almost all of the FMS line in boxes.

This looks good but, I bet it flys like a tank. Thinking about getting one or something similar.
