I haven't heard of any videos specifically covering that. There's a lot of different areas to cover in setting up an EDF for its' first flight, and I doubt that it could effectively be communicated in a half-hour 'how-to' video.

Usually, flying jets is a progression from flying prop aircraft, where the knowlege and skills are accumulated over time. It's at a level that a beginner in RC aircraft would not usually start at, and the assumption by manufacturers seems to be that there will be a certain degree of prior knowlege and experience before attempting to fly EDF aircraft.

If you feel unsure about setting the aircraft up, I would suggest finding your local club, join it, then take the aircraft, radio and manuals down there and ask for help.

I ask this because I fly helicopters (electric and nitro) and learned how to set them up in great part to videos posted at Helifreak.com
Planes seems to me a lot less complicated than a heli but as any RC there are ways to make things work as they should so anything I can learn is a plus+++

If you've never flown aircraft, much less jets before, I fear that this venture won't end well. If you think bad things happen fast with choppers, wait until it happens while flying a jet

If you don't want to destroy your plane within six seconds of launch, put it away, get a prop trainer, and learn to fly first. Just because you can fly a helicopter doesn't necessarily mean you can fly a plane. Join your local club and pick their brains dry. Even the smallest club is going to have many hundreds of hours of combined flight experience for you to benefit from.

Or, ignore good advice and just go fly it.

Remember to get video
