Tim have you put an 85 in the laser tail before? If you haven't be careful! There isn't much plywood around the tray compared to the other exps.

I cut mine out originally for the 85MG and there was a ton of wood.. Actually my old 85mg was CA'ed in by accident, and I had to forcefully remove it. The wood has held strong! Yours must have been a fluk.

Yeah, I didn't feel like I was compromising anything when cutting the hole for my 85MG.
Of course I tend to use a dremel for stuff like that, so it usually seems like a piece of cake, even if it 'is' close.
(And I usually follow by saturating the fresh cut with CA, just in case)

Watkins, agreed! I CA'ed mine before cutting also. Dremel is a nice way to go..

My new Laser is ready for decals. Now that I have two of them it's really going to get interesting.

This is my current Laser with MXS fiberglas wing tips. The new one will be exactly the same except both will probably get Thunder Power decals on the fin as soon as I can get some more.

Very stable, very axial rolling, very precise and a tumbling machine.

Chris, any plans for a second scheme on the 60? would love to see a blue, and gold version.

The scheme looks cool on this one, but I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with as far as a new scheme goes.
