I'm crossing my fingers that they'll get the Laser a bit before SEFF, but perhaps the entire first batch of Laser kits will be USA-bound. Who knows......

I am super curious, what props is EF using in their first post of this thread?

I have seen them before on pictures of the Pantera; I have a few questions:
- What is the prop material?
- What is the prop size for the Laser?
- Are these painted by hand?
- Are they available to the public?
- Any chance a painted prop will be included in the kit?
- Once/ If available to the public, how much do you expect them to cost?

I think those props would look great on a number of my planes I look forward to any info you might have, thanks!

The props are APC 12X6E. I lightly sand the prop and paint them white with a spray can, mask them off and shoot the colors. Pretty easy to do, just takes patience and a sunny day. Much easier to do several at a time.
I've had the factory paint a few for me as well, but it is expensive. I'd have to charge at least $25 bucks a piece to cover purchasing the props, shipping them to China, having them painted and shipped back to me.

The prop in the picture is an APC 12x6. Chris Hinson sent some to his factory to have them painted, but to my knowledge, is not planning to sell them. Shipping them back and forth from the factory and haveing them paint each one is pretty expensive and the price tag would scare most people away.

They sure look great though!

That is nice to hear it is so simple, I may have to give a few a try myself; thanks for sharing

I also wanted to let you know I took your old Extra up on Sunday for the first time since I picked it up from you... I was waiting on a new radio to come in, but finally got it programmed and in the air! Flights were absolutely fantastic (flew with MLT, BigMoeBBQ, and Electrich). CG ended up spot on and it flew exactly where I pointed it. I think I may add 2 or 3 points of ele up in a mix to counter act a slight couple to the gear during KE, but that is all.

Excellent plane and I look to get much more familiar with it over the next few weeks.
Thanks for the great ship!

Bradley B.

Wow the plane looks great Chris!

I haven't had time to read the whole thread, but is there a second color choice? Or are you just going with the replica colors?

I am planning on it... although I may not be able to fly until later in the afternoon

As you see it is just one morning after the holiest of my days, St. Patrick's Day- And as it is my birthday tradition, I am going to drink till it hurts... usually, I cannot find my clothes in the morning, much less my car; but I am sure to make it up to the drones one way or another

Obviuosly we will do a 60 inch Laser. In fact we are already reviewing drawings. What other sizes of the Laser would you guys like to see?
