When setting up my 78" Ailerons, and elevators, I ran out of throw(one direction,due to sub-trim) trying to reach my 3D rates. After Centering the servo's, and adjusting the TX trims to zero I was able set the max throws appropriately.

The HPP-21 is the best 27$ I ever spent!

I set the center, and endpoints up, but left the overload protection off. Do you use it? I'm just ystarting to mess with digitals, so your input is appreciated.

Tim I started turning it on after I bound up a servo and it browned out my reciever and fried the servo and crashed my plane.
I haven't had an issue since. Now if I trash a gear set I only have to worry about getting a plane down with out that control surface instead if worrying about frying the servo and crashing the plane

what does the overload protection do Losi?
Im glad you mentioned it as I've not heard of it,or programmed any servos yet..I have the hp-22? I think? the one you program the A9 with. i wonder if it will program servos too?

Ok cool.. so theres pro's, and cons, because it shuts down the servo if there's reistance(Trashed gear,weeds caught in the rudder,etc.)Right?

No manta the HP22 only does TX, and RX's.. I have one, and still had to purchase a HP21..

No manta the HP22 only does TX, and RX's.. I have one, and still had to purchase a HP21..

Yes it will do any brand Digital servo.
