The rest of the EXPsd are so awesome that I think we really need to have all of them. If you like the looks of trhe Extra, edge or MXS, I'de get one of those now and pick up a Laser at SEFF. |

So, how will the Laser EXP fit into the EXP lineup?
I just had one flight on it in the wind but I could tell a few things about it. 1. It was axial, smooth, precise and had no coupling. 2. It had rudder authority like a foamy with no rudder coupling. 3. It was very responsive. In comparison to the other EXPs I think it will be more of an all arounder than the Edge (3D) and the MXS (high energy) and be more similar to the Extra in that it will have a very wide flight envelope. Where it's flight envelope excells differently than the Extra will require more flight time. Chris H. says its the best EXP yet and I agree but haven't got the flight time yet to form the opinion into a valuable description. Also, keep in mind that being the newest it will have all the little airframe improvements that make each generation better than the last. |
