multiplex microjet questions

Is the jet good with the original motor or is there a better choice?
Also what batteries? Will the Kan 1050 cells fit? What configuration, stick or side by side?

Cavi -

I'm currently flying with the Stock Motor and 8xKAN950's in a twin-stick config (it took a little dremel'ing to make it all fit) - A brushless would be fun but a little pricey! Mine flies great stock - just be sure to use 8-cells, not 7.

I had to put my reciever in the nose - not something I would reccomend if you can aviod it (plus, using all those servo extension wires was quite a pain....)

Iif you were to do TWo Sticks of four and put them inSo one stick is laying on top of the other there will be lots of room in fact i think you would need some foam on both sides. I think a Mini AC 12/15/16 DD would be a good choice(With a 4x4 Prop) I have a Mega 3 turn on mine and 8 1700AUP`s. Pretty quick but still not as fast as the old Projeti. Fun little plane though. I find it a little more"Interesting" to fly than the Projeti thats for sure

This is a Projeti
If you go to www.hobby-lobby.com and do a search for Projeti you can see a STOCK one fly. Then add Another 30 to 40MPH onto that and you have a Mega 3 turn Projeti(Close to 100MPH) if not a little over with the right batt Prop Combo. I have a Lipo setup which i am going to test when it stops raining this one should top 110MPH

I'm flying the yellow PJ with S400 with the esc made onto the motor (hobby-lobby) I un soldered the esc from the motor & rotated it 180 deg & re soldered in order to get the pusher rotation. Prop is gunther & using 1100 HE cells both 7 & 8 cell packs. Just finished 5 7 cell flights & 2 8 cell flights. Love this plane, I have a 480L also with esc mounted to motor just waiting for the Reno Racer to arrive have 2 8 cell Kan 1050 packs for the Reno. Sweet flying bird, usually fly 6 to 8 min per pack. Launches
great & lands super. After the 480L, will take my Mega /4 out of anouther plane & stick it in the Jeti. While flying the jeti other day, I decided to see if she would fly "topless" with the plastic cover removed. 1oz weight reduction, did great & motor much cooler, just had to firmly secure the rcvr & batt pack.
