Great Planes 1/4 Scale Fabric Cub
Love this plane, but moving to the city in April and won't have room to store it. IMAA legal Great Planes J-3 Cub with some custom touches. I added a scale door on the right side of the airplane using micro piano hinges, and a custom latch system. This allows access to the interior where I would occasionally mount my video camera, or for battery changes, etc.
Plane is equipped with a Saito 65 four stroke that I picked up used and rebuilt with new gaskets, seals, and bearings. Engine runs beautifully and sounds fantastic. Plane is also equipped with an Outrage 5000 mah lipo rx pack, 4 standard servos and a high torque on the rudder, a du-Bro quick fuel valve, and an Align on-board glow starter and regulator. Plane currently has a Spektrum AR7000 receiver in it, but can be had without it if you don't have a spektrum radio.
There are a couple of small patches in the plane, as I acquired the airframe from a friend who had a minor encounter with mother earth. After some careful restoration, she's back to her full glory and flies like an absolute dream. I can't stress enough how fun this airplane is to fly, and if you have owned a cub before you know what I mean when I say "nothing flies like a cub". This plane is a rgeat combo of scale realism and sport fun, and looks like the real thing when it's cruising by about 30' up with the four stroke humming along.
This plane is BIG, so I won't ship it, must be picked up in Arlington Heights Illinois.
Looking to get $250 for it as it sits, $200 without the receiver. WIll also Include a few gallons of new fuel that I have, as well as the remainder of a roll of matching fabric covering, a new prop, manual and electric fuel pumps, and whatever other stuff I have laying around for it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Hopefully some of the local pilots come out of hibernation soon to take advantage of this. Wished I could keep it, but a 7' span airplane just doesn't blend in with the wife's idea of decorating too well.
