I went ahead and paid and love the way it flys. Very Smooth. Would be nice if the controller had gimbal output. It says it does but it not usable.

Hobby Lobby needs to come off that price. You can buy your own motor and Esc's and get the frame for 110 and only have 210 in the whole setup minus controller

Bumble bee quad

Well mine finally did come in. Ordered mine from Target Hobby, came with two bad esc`s. Ordered replacements and now it flies just great. Worth the investment and wait time. I really like the carbon frame, and setup was easy once you install the usb drivers [on the cd] read the manual, and learn how to start the motors. Its very different than just advancing the throttle. You have to arm the motors by pulling both radio sticks down and left, or down and towards center.

Once motors start you need to advance throttle up past 10% or they will shut back down. Takeoff is like most rc heli, its best to power off the ground quickly.

Flight is quite easy when slow, but quickly can become an orentation issue at a distance or when FFF. Dang things are really quite ugly in the air, but the video is really good and smooth.

As of now, we do not know of any adaptable props.. i am working on modifying some after market props with large hubs... (if i can figure out an easy and quick way to do it, then i will begin to make and sell them on my ebay page.)

the stock props are scary. yesterday at about a 5ft hover one of my props cracked on the hub and shot off my bumblebee like a supersonic boomerang almost taking off one my spectators face.

A solution is needed. Has anybody contacted hobbylord to let them know of the dangerous products they are sending out?

Me and three of my friends just ordered the naza FC and F450 frame wheel, now that GPS is coming out for it, it may not look as cool but it will be a much better machine to fly and less trouble over-all. Thanks hobbycool, you saved us tons of money by having your paypal screwed up so we could'nt order the Bumble Bee !

(we are glad you never answered my email)

motors

I am all ears! I was thinking of filing down the output shafts on the stock motors to allow other props.
