Are you sure about the price of 283$ for the BB FC while you get the NAZA for 230$ at every corner on the net or the BB for 190$ incl. shipping at GLB?

Yeah I noticed that to, they sell the whole kit alot cheaper than most but the Fc price is a killer compared to everyone else.

Hello HobbyCool_tech;

Thank you for answering my questions on PM.

Did you assemble the ST450 as well? How is that one compared to Bumble Bee?

Would love to see a video of that.
Any comparisons of the two?

..Ben

p.s. Is the ST450 controller the same as Bumble Bee controller (Naza)? But the price of $281 doesn't sound right for the whole kit.
A bit of more description on ST450 would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello Ben, I do have the ST450 and will be doing a build and flight video of that this weekend.

The bumble bee quad arf kit is $368 shipped and comes with :

bumble bee quad body kit
4 brushless motors
4 brushless esc's
1 bumble bee flight controller
1 VU unit
4 props
all wiring needed to complete
cd manual and software
usb programming cable

http://www.hobbycool.com/bumblebee-5...mbo-p-423.html

the pricing for the ST450 is correct. $281 shipped.

comes with everything like the bumble bee quad except it comes with the metal frames instead of the carbon fiber bumble bee quad frame. It uses the same electronics as the bumble. everything is included except for the transmitter, receiver and batteries.

Its one heck of deal considering the price.

Once I see the ST450 kit flying I'll make a decision. I'm thinking of getting an ST450 ARF to start with as a trainer kit, then buy a BB kit with no electronics and then buy more powerful motor, ESC and a controller and build me a more serious kit, since I really like the frame of BB.

Are you guys going to carry the gimbal for BB?

On the ST450 & BB, can you tell us how thick of a battery can we fit into that battery holder? Will a 5000 fit?
Thanks!

Stay tuned for the ST450 Ben. I'll get that set up and ready to roll on Sunday for ya.

the gimbal option is disabled on the BB at the moment. DJI may release the firmware for it at a later time from what I heard.

the BB can handle a 3S from 2200mah-5500mah batteries.

Payload will be limited: propellers are very soft ( like EPP ones ) But no problem to lift a Gopro ( 130g )

i'm flying a 3s 5Ah during 10 min approximately.

I get 8 minutes of flying using 3S 2200mah 25C batteries.

The BB can lift the gopro without any problems.

Thanks,
From what I have been reading the BB flight controller only works with ultrapwm esc's that have a refresh rate of 500hz.
