Is there a " Shoestring " racer available 36" to 48" range ?

Needs to be a full foam kit. With power or no power. Any others avaible in that racing Class ?

Thanks.

Good question! I'll be watching this thread. I love the Great Planes Shoestring! A nice foamy version would be a sweet addition to the hangar!

The only other Shoestring I could find was THIS ONE but it's still balsa, and you have to build/cover it.

I take that back! I just found THIS one, but it's like the GP "flatouts" in design, but still, completely foam!

Wing Span: 914mm (38")
Length: 875mm (34.5")
Wing Area: 305 sq. in
Wing Airfoil: Flat
Flying Weight: 18-22oz

A little pricey though in my opinion at $75

You are right for a profile with a flat plate wing.

Well, good luck to you. I'm sure somebody makes one. It's a popular model. I'll keep my eyes open. If I see one, i'll be sure to post in here.

Not that anybody cares, but....

When first raced, in the mid-1940s, Shoestring, #16, was painted overall chartreuse, with maroon trim, not yellow with red trim.
