How does the wiggle drive work if your wing is hinged in a line (front and back ball-bearing) ?

What about the power needed?
It seems to me like a system with a lot of resistance.

Also the demonstration of vectored trust is very interesting ,It make the model very, very maneuverable.
Thank you for sharing. Nice idea.Good job.

Dirk.
The Wiggle Drive has less friction than crank movement because all power transmitting is rotating parts with ball bearings.

So... is it suposed to be gearless flapping mechanism or not? by gearless i mean the wing flapping, not the speed reduction obviously.

The two wiggle heads have to rotate in opposite direction so they are connected with gears. The fan-flapping rate is depending on wing size.

Willi made the Wiggle Drive in collaborating with me. He made a very professional work. He had problems to make it fly because he was using SK wings Do to the active wing twist and, the 8 way movement the wing has to be made different.
