Exactly what is the Virtual Instructor stabilization system and how does it work?

I was about to pull the trigger on one of the popular beginner planes mentioned on RCG when I saw this in a banner ad. Just looks too good to pass up, so I hope it turns out to be a good trainer!

You can disable it. It contains 4 mixes:
~Low throttle has elevator mixed in to keep nose up for landing
~Rudder has elevator mixed in to maintain altitude in turns
~Rudder has throttle differential mixed into the two motors so turning doesn't require as much banking
~Gyro stabilized wings

This looks to be the best trainer I've ever seen. I have 3 concerns about it.

What is the Rx? I hope the servos aren't "on board". I doubt they are.
Brushed. Oh well. Less power means less throttle management learning anyway.
BNF please? Probably takes the profit out of it. That junky Tx sells for way more than it's worth.

It has the rubber nose, the wing that pops off for storage and crashes, the right size, the best possible landing gear setup that is removable, the twin motors to kill torque, the stupid electronics to help super noobs that can be disabled, the same day parts support, zfoam, etc. The only thing that could possibly be better would be brushless motors. One thing that I can think of, total.

Lets think some more .. Maybe the wing pops off under a rotational load such as when a less than perfect landing is made, ie: a wing tip contacts the ground.

If the on board radio is not a Spectrum DSM2/X system then there is no chance of a bind and fly version.

It looks like a decent plane, but...
Yes, but the chance of damaging a motor in a crash is probably 4x-8x less likely.

If it had ailerons I would get it. Looks pretty cool. I might get one to try and teach my GF to fly.

That would most likely get rid of all mixes that make up the ''electronic instructor". But i don't see why not.
