FrySky FLD-02 Telemetry -- Help programming alarms

Hello Everyone

I bought some moths ago (before winter) the FrSky FLD-02 Telemetry Display Screen for my FrySky module. I am having trouble programming the alarm tresholds and the manual is not really helpful :P

Does anyone knwos how to program these alarms? I am planning to use it in combination with the Thermal Scout

regards

You mean operating the display, or computing alarm values ?
There are guys in the Frsky threads who already did this, you can found there examples of everything.

Hi Guys,
I'm using D6FR receiver which already has Battery monitor Built-in and FLD-02 monitor, as the power I'm using 3S Lipo and BEC to power my receiver(5V). Now the questions are
1. What should I put on the A1 (FLD-02) as th Volt devider?
2. The number that shows up on the monitor fld-02. Is it the actual voltage ?

Thanks
Regards
Andi

1. you must put 4.
2. the left number is the receiver voltage, as provided by the BEC. The right number could be the pack voltage, if A2 is connected using an appropriate divisor to the propulsion pack.

Thanks Renatoa, now regarding the A2. I have made some of your voltage sensors last week as described on this http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1#post16889744
I'm using 3 Lipos and BEC, and I tried to measure the voltage on that Lipos.
1. What number should I put on A2?
2. What will display on the Fld-02 (the right side) for my 3s Lipo?

Thanks a million
Andi

The link is broken.
I remember I posted somewhere a method to DIY a voltage sensor, but that post was for a D8R.
D6FR A2 is a complete different beast, and I don't have one handy to make some tests. I think for the D6FR the simplest method would be using a potentiometer, set A2 to 6 and fin tune from potentiometer to read the right lipo value, measured with a multimeter. As posted by Lindsay here:

RSII = YYYY ? what is this ?
If I rememeber well from other threads, they ended with an alarm in the 116-118 ballpark, fine tuning for your taste is mandatory.

Is it possible to show the actual voltage of the LiPo instead of the voltage provided by BEC without external voltage sensor using the D8R-II Plus built in voltage sensor?

The hack inside receiver don't worth the trouble, much simpler to DIY an external sensor of the servo connector size !
