Cold only 8deg but i flew the Infineon Bipe this morning anyway.
We have fresh snow on the ground too so that makes the landings soft.
Too cold to stay out there for long so just one flght this morning.

High twenties and about 10 mph wind. My buddies and I did a little flying' today. "Chance of snow" tomorrow. By and large it's been a tough winter for flying -- too much wind, and wind-chill.

53 degrees in Nebraska this time of year is GREAT!
Winds NW at 26 with gusts to 31 aren't so great.

Happy Ground Hog Day!

Just had 6 inches of snow here on north shore of Lake Erie. If it warms up a bit might try Escapade 40 with floats. Floats great off snow.

Our local rodent, Wiarton Willy, didn`t see his shadow this morning so only 6 weeks `til Spring. Otherwise if he saw his shadow would have meant another month and a half of Winter. Thank goodness for Willy!

We've had decent weather but I can't "get out" when it comes along.
I have 3 planes ready for first flights...
building number 4.

14 below zero this morning here but no wind,so i flew the maiden flight on the Fat Yak.
Flew ok and i got some tweakin done on her but the motor quit just before i was ready to land
and i had to dead stick her.
Had a little damage, landing gear and rudder and knocked the motor mount off.
Shouldn't take long to repair.
Fingers are still thaughing out though.

Here in Beantown burbs, at least two feet of new snow as of this morning, lots of folks without power -- mostly along the shore. Warm and cozy where I sit -- knock wood. Guv has declared state of emergency, no driving allowed. At some point we gotta dig out... not quite yet.
