It's not so hot here anymore but the humidity is still through the roof. Feels like my deodorant fails after just 10 minutes outdoors. I cut the grass the other day and the temps were in the low 80s but the humidity was so high that I couldn't cool off and was dripping with sweat. Took a shower afterwards and I was still sweating afterwards, because my body was still trying to cool itself off.

It's supposed to be more "fall-like" next week. Can't get here soon enough.

Yeah we're getting the left overs from Issac. Let it rain. I'm building a Sea plane.

Calm here this morning and got in one flight so far.
Put the NoobTube up for a nice one and no incidents.
Good landing also.
What could be better?

Looks like this whole island of Papua is stuck inside a giant milk bottle. It's been raining continuously for about 2 weeks. Thankfully, there are nice calm spots here and there during the day, so during these time segments we would head out to fly.

hitting 100F here. maidened the pz micro spitfire yesterday. brought her in to work so didn't have to worry about my car killing it with the heat. unfortunately i can't fly its bigger brother - the one that i usually fly - she's too big to lug in to work. have to wait for it to cool down.

I was a nice day. Got to test fly my home built quadcopter. My first attempt at building one. Turned out good. I believe I'll build another. The frame needs to be better. Got tangled up in a tree and broke all four motor mounts off.

Another fantastic day flying model airplanes here in Tucson. Temp around 60 when I first got to the field and then a real fast increase to around 80. Almost zero winds again today with just the occasional thermal blowing past. Four of the best flights I've had to date as I'm again able to land within 10 feet of the green tennis ball I put out in the middle of the runway. Now to get it down to 5 feet and I'll be happy. Moved the C/G back on the little bird an am now getting almost true axial rolls and straight up and down lines. Sure feels good getting back into the realm of flying I did before I became so ill. I can hardly wait until next Friday.

Good flying weather this morning and got in one nice maiden flight with the new plane i just built.
It is my design but i did use some idea's from other planes.
I call it the Sportster because i designed it for sport flying mostly.
Here is one of the pic's of it.
