Heavy Lift Foldable Quad - v2.0

Hey!

Long time since I have been here, too many projects and also have to go to work so a bit slow on the updates.
Finally the Version 2.0 that was promised a long time ago is ready.
A lot of improvements from the previous version.
A short list of main improvements follow:
  • Better space for DJI units, IMU + pwd fits nicely in the main compartment, Main FC + receiver in the tail, all protected.
  • Much lighter construction, but still stronger than previous model. Giving more flight time.
  • No need to unpin arms for folding, the now fall into slots, making the folding in a matter of seconds.
  • Front fork is separated, giving more options for tilt servos, space for vibration dampening, and in the unlikely event of braking the front fork in a frontal crash, no need to buy / cut a new mainframe.
  • Tail is longer to support more electronics and also possibility to move battery further back for heavier camera
  • Wider camera tray (162mm) So comfortably fits a 5d
  • Support for dual servo tilt if needed, no modification is needed to the frame

As before, If anyone has possibility to cut them self, Im more than happy to send the original drawings Please send me an email jago(a)jago.se, because I do not always have access to PM / web.

If you do not know anyone, have a look at homecut.org might be that someone close to you can help.

For the moment I have very many pre-orders so will take up to about 5-6 weeks before I can start on new orders. I cut them for 250 euro + 25 euro if you want a tilt servo included. Arms and all screws are included. You can find info about the first version here: link

And ofcourse, some pics :-)

Cheers!

Jago

Drawings

Hi.
Many have asked about the different parts and materials, finally attached a list of materials so it will be easier for you all to cut the parts.

Some small modifications.
* Now supports any FC, both a DJI or MK board, and even a 30x30mm mvc.
* A bit lighter

Just mail me if you are interested in the new dxf files.

Kind Regards
Jago

Its times like these I wish I had a CNC machine!, the very thought of tweaking and making your own frame makes me dribble!
