main fuse joint. for fan access etc. 5 tapered screws hold it together. on the bottom you can see the countersunk hole so the screw mounts flush with the fuse........gregg

That Schubi looks goos tucked in there, are the intakes installed or are they part of the 4 part fuselage . expect to see at least one posting of photos per day.....Kidding....

Looks So clean...So what color scheme are you going to go with? HI VIS?

I guess that wing must be pretty thin too on that thoroughbred, after seeing the special wheels Ralf had to make up for the El Bandito.

Joe: the intakes are installed seperately. they are preformed and install easily.

Gordon: red/white is high vis for me.root thickness is 22-3mm at the high point........gregg

Great thread Gregg

Let me come with a small advice,In the aft fuse where the elevator servos are to be installed ,the fuse is very thin and a bit flexy ,i had some flutter on the first flight and traced it to the flexing elev servos.I stiffened it with a carbon mat and the problem dissapeared. What to you plan for covering the wings?
The leading edge is made of very light balsa and i suggest
you saturate it with cyano to harden it.I got some dents in them
and had to repair it,but then again i landed in hard snow.
otherwise its perfect, you will enjoy it very much .what will power it?

Terje: thanks for the advice!
i planned on glassing the wing/stab/fin. with the built in hinges, i'm not sure about how to do this on the upper surfaces.
