+1, if it could bind to 9X that would seal the deal for me

I just got my camera. It seems there are at least three versions of the camera.
The one I got has 1 G memory card and does have sound.
I just did a short hover in the house to test it out and works fine.

:yes this is pics from the video from the # 16 808 hd keychain cam. i used vlc to take snapshots from video . i will post some videos soon.. i need to learn to stop crashing first lol i got a training kit for both helicopters to learn so it will be a while before you see a good video from me i can hover the heli but i cant fly it to good yet, the doublehorse 9104 is a very hard heli to learn on its only 3 ch heli .and im hopeing the mjx f45 thats on its way will be better at flying since it has 4 ch on it but for now i will practice on the 9104 since it is very durable. wish me luck lol

Can someone tell me what the dimensions are of the stock 1500mah battery that comes with the F45? I need them in cm and mm so that I can see what other brands of battery will fit.

Thank you

The stock battery is 69mm X 37mm X 19mm.
I could not find a good match that would fit through the battery/pcb mount.

I used the turnigy 1800mah 30c battery that is 108mm X 36mm X 16mm.
It is 20gm heavier than the stock.

To install:
Cut out rear battery locator stops. Add a new stop to locate the battery so the front of the battery touches the front stock battery stop.
Lengthen battery lead to pcb so you can route this lead back to stock location in the side of the frame and keep the wires out of the way when installing the battery.
You will have to change the battery lead from the XT60 connector to JST connector.

My newest and my best heli up to now, MJX F45!!!

Hi MJX helifans,
I'm new in this forum, joined last week, but I've read a lot since last 3 months,
especially threads of Gordonzo. Your threads and your expierence with MJX,
(T23, F627, F45) convinced me to buy these 3 helis in the last 2 months.
I was used to fly wing models ( fuel & electric ) in the years from 1975 to 1992.
Then, for now 20 years ago, I preferred other interests and hobbies. But last
christmas, I found a coaxial heli ( a gift from my familiy ) under the christmas tree.
Trying and flying it indoor ( McTrack Sky Power, 3 ch ) made me keen on more,
especially for 4 ch and outdoor flying. Browsing a little bit brought me to rcgroups forums and to MJX helis ( Gordonzo and others ). Now my skills have grown up with T23 and F627, and in the evening of 2nd avril I had my first flight with my best heli up to now, F45. Wow, I'm very very enjoyed about it, and although I'm still learning with my first single blade, it's getting better from flight to flight, and I won't miss it. I'm now 63 years old, and I'd never thought before that I would have so much fun in flying such a model in my old days(?).http://static.rcgroups.com/forums/im...lies/smile.gif

Maybe some pics and vids follow next time ......

hey guys, does anyone of you have experience with the g.t. 9019?
its the same size as the F45 but the price is better
i was gonna order the F45 but that other model got me to question it.
looks like it has a longer flight time and the parts support is good too.
just wanna find somebody that knows if its a good buy or a waste of money.
any input is appreciated

GT Makes a lot of helis. Click here for their website.

Regarding safety:

Here is a quote from their website "design special blade double choked to death protection function, make operator safer".

Regarding quality:

GT also makes the smaller 5888 and 5889 fp models so you can check their threads to get an insight into their helis. I have never owned one.

5888: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...highlight=5889
5889: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...highlight=5889

Regarding specs as listed:

Flight times are almost always overstated so take that with a grain of salt.
Listed length includes extended blades and tail rotor so ime about 85% of that should get you close to actual length (~23").

Parts seem to be easy to find.
For me (Canada) the price is actually a bit higher than what I paid for my F45.

If you get the 9019 start a thread on it with your experiences. If this is you first single rotor make sure you have a large grassy area to fly!

regards . . . g
