F45

Hi Folks,
Will be moving to smaller "digs" soon and will be concentrating on smaller choppers. Soooooo... I'm selling my two F45 choppers and going for F47 and similar. Have one red and one green with spare parts and upgraded batteries. Excellent condition. Will be posting in classifieds soon but send me a message if interested now. Allan

And yet another year !

So it's the end of 2012, and at the beginning of this year I never had thought I would fly a RC heli one day !
But things happen you would never think of before !
So in april I began this addiction hobby with an Esky Lama V4 and after that the F45 !
And now I put a foot on the CP way (but I feel this one will be a steep and winding way)
And thus I discovered this thread on the Rcgroups forum, haunted by very interesting people from all corners of our planet, some younger, some not so young , some with lots of technical knowledge, some with a little less of it, some flying their heli in a wheelchair, some writing and singing (beautifull) songs, and some just prefering new challenges instead of letting their brain shrink in front of a TV set !
And this with a mutual respect I appreciate !

So let me thank you for sharing your ideas and knowledge, and let me wich you all the best for 2013 !

Have nice flights and smooth landings.

Regards, Roland

P.S. Sorry for my not so perfect english

Well I guesse Roland and Tigger are my neighbors lol
I've been over here since "91" you guys have your english down really good.
I live close to Stuttgart,
My first Heli is my F-45 (drive mostly cars, Drift and Dragsters)
But now I guesse i'm hooked on Helis now. Never thought I would find this so
challenging to do, and fun.

A vid of my first time in the air with a heli and its a F45.

Hope ya'll have a nice NewYear

Frank

Thanks man, a little wobbly, got everything on 100%, but figured out the trims
so I dont smack the garage doors or anything else I dont wanna hit.

Have to wait till theres no or low wind outside, wanna learn to turn this thing,
and at a bit more elevation. Maybe a flip!!! lol I know not possible.
I think this will be an interesting hobby, challenging as he..

Thanks
Frank

So sorry to see you moving away from the F45, but here's hoping the F47 etc give as great an experience. Good luck eh!

Body came in today. Note the absence of the main gear do to a run in with a juniper bush.

Next thing to address is how tail heavy this thing is. Going to need a bunch of clay in the nose.

Looks good. I also had to counter weight my nose with about 30 grams to offset the tail motor and stretched length.
And Happy New year to everyone and many successfully flights to come.
