You should look how much womans spend on things we men dont see...
When my wife complains I just open her closet. She has some shoes that cost more than a heli. (And she's got lots of shoes). To each his/her own.

Personally, if I had a choice between new shoes or a new heli, I think you might find me flying barefoot.

Nope, mainshaft on the F45 is larger diameter.

LOL Today it's closer to -12c so if you don't like -1 then stay away
Fortunately we get hot summers where I live. Often in the high 35-40c range.

That's a sweet looking plane! A friend of mine is trying to get me to pick up a small EDF plane. I'm very tempted. I look forward to hearing how you like your adventure.

I see they used the 7 shaped bones. Looks quite good. I might have to pick one up to test it out but gee, the F45 is so good I can't imagine what they'd do to make it even better. My only fear is that the PCB would not have the connector for converting the main motor to a brushless ESC. Otherwise - could be a great thing to have some competition in this space.

I have one of the first F45's produced and it has the 7 shaped links. I have never broken a loop.

I don't think these links are available anymore though.

I've never broken a loop on my F45 with the 7's. If you could find them, definitely order them. Otherwise just look through this thread as some folks have reinforced their loops with paperclips etc. and found that helps.

I did the paperclip and epoxy thing before the first flight and have more than 50 flights on it now without any signs of wear or problems.

I did it in increments by laying the clip on and epoxying a small section at a time, let cure and move on to the next section, etc.

Its a bit time consuming to do , but well worth the effort.

Hello Guys! The EH200 arrived back in stock in www.hobbyking.com, and mine has been sent!

I bought the following items:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=2168
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=21329
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11881

This item is above 3S LiPo battery brand Zippy, 1500mha. I do not quite understand, is not seen as the connector, could someone tell me what charger should I buy? Or balancer?

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...p?idProduct=68
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11199

I wonder also need to buy a chip for programming the ESC!

And a question, what blade would be best for me to buy? For use with these settings?

Thank you for attention!

I saw your reinforcement ideas with paper clip.i even saved those pics on my iPad..ive got super strong epoxy glue (devcon 2 ton 5min).as you see per picture loops are breaking in the same spot.so I thought I should cover the loops in glue especially pay attention where the most stress they take.

As long as you reinforce with the paperclip theres no need to over do the epoxy build up in any particular area, it will get on the loops enough, just dont get any on the inside (where the links go through). Make sure to use a continuous paper clip and make the open point at the center (mainshaft) of the loop assy.

I tried to bend a paperclip yesterday and i gave up.maybe i should try with a smaller clip then?...i ll follow your advice war dog with smaller paper clip..the one i had was very thick....what epoxy glue did you use?how many times did you stop to let the glue dry?
