That would be a great option, only we have no Idea what protocall the MJX uses. Nothing that any of my radios will link with.
My buddy just got one of those to use with helimax 100 and his Futaba TX. works great for him.

They don't mention Devo TX - does that fit into any of the categories?

Other question - I thought I read somewhere that someone had somehow stiffened up their stock blades with some process. Does anyone know anything about it? I'm searching but clearly not using the right terms.

That one is called the Elevator Servo. You would have to order a new servo arm. There is a link in my blog to get is. You then have to trim it a little to fit because it is too long, but the will still allow you to move out one hole more than the stock servo arm.

No idea if a devo would work, but might because it uses the training port.
If you get a DEVO8s or a devo 10, you can use deviation firmware and that will give you a lot of options. You have all the Walkeras to chose from and Spectrum DSS receivers.

I have a Devo 10 coming in that I'll use for my Armattan Quad and hopefully other future projects - so things are going to get interesting. I didn't realize I could hit the Spectrum DSS lineup!

I would suggest downloading the new Version 2.0 deviation software and installing before you get a lot of models in your new TX as you would have to resetup again if you install later.

I've downloaded a number of videos on YouTube and I note that they are
interrupted and have breaks with a jumping picture. My files before
uploading are perfect. Some of my earlier uploads are fine.
I've written Google with no response to date.
After downloading a comment comes up asking if you want to have them fix
the shaking, etc. and I've said yes but there is no improvement.

You can see what I mean by going to YouTube and typing "Baltic F-45"
and you'll see the files with the first few a problem or you can look at the following:

That might function as a tail motor, but not the main.

I have tried viewing F45 video directly from the Mini SD Card and that is how it looked. When I copied it to my hard drive first, it ran smoothly.

Did you by chance upload directly from the card?

Hello all. I'm just checking in before I spend the weekend reading through this long thread and working on my F45. I absolutely love this thing and now have two. I'm a videographer and have been bitten by the aerial video bug. I've been working my way up to something capable of flying a gimble and a DSLR. So far I've found the f45 quite capable of flying a gopro with a little modification. This little heli has taken a beating as I learn more and more. Here's a video of my most expensive lesson to date.

Gone With The Wind - Crashing a MJX F45 and GoPro Hero2 (4 min 42 sec)

I'll be rebuilding the heli featured in that video and have ordered a second that'll use with another gopro. I'm planning on changing out the servo arm and upgrading to a 2200mah battery along with some heatsinks.
